Martin 000-28 MV Custom Sunburst

$3,950.00

Available on backorder

Product Description

The classic tone of rosewood with our own twist. We have a top built for high performance and maximum response; golden era style scalloped bracing, 1/4″ rear tone bar, all lying on a thinner (.105″) sitka spruce top. These performance based tweaks are paired with some of our favorite vintage stylings (open geared tuners, and angled nut) to raise the bar on an already stellar model. This guitar is setup and ready to ship!

The best sounding guitar I’ve ever heard on one of these presentations.

Lovely guitar. Nice sound. The only negative IMHO is the burst. Martin should take lessons from Gibson when it comes to painting their bursts. The Gibson Tobacco and Honey bursts are ahead of Martins in beauty, although I know this is a subjective thing.

Absolutely Beautiful !, I love this. I have a 2013 Gibson custom j 45, which is great too.. Spike..

I recently purchased this guitar’s twin. Truly, truly, this is one of the most enjoyable guitars in both sound and playability that I have owned, and I’ve owned a few. The responsiveness from the short scale length and the thinner top just makes it really sing even with the lightest of touches. The ease of sound and the warm tone makes this guitar my favorite finger style go to. Only thing I wish it had was the 1-3/4″ nut as opposed to the slightly tight 1-11/16″.
